I hope this means there was a Storm/Logan romance like in the comic but it just got cut and will be on the extended version.
Me too I'm not sorry but I always thought storm and logan would be a better couple. There personalities match to me more. In fact I never really liked the whole jean grey, scott and logan love triangle
So, imagine yourself sitting at the movie theatre. Apocalypse has just finished. It was awesome and badass, as usual, and you're watching the credits, anticipating that AC-scene Marvel usually has for the fans.
As the last credit disappears, the screen is dark. You hear a couple piano notes from "Join Me," but this time, they are slower and slightly creepy.
And then, silence.
Suddenly, you see the temple - Professor X, Magneto, Kitty, and Logan lying on the table. And of course, the sentinels. As the flames are getting closer to Kitty, she pushes Logan to the floor, only to wake him up and save herself from death. As the professor realizes that Logan failed in the past (at least that's what he thinks), he quickly reacts and tries to help the other three. They fight the sentinels. And, somehow (phoenix force), they manage to escape.
Scene cuts to black, you hear notes from "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," only to realize the action was in complete silence.

A title, X-Men: Rebellion appears.
ddddd not them erasing DOFP as well as the other movies though, nothing will ever be concrete in this universe! That's a pretty cool concept, but I don't know how they could ever escape... future sentinels in that many numbers would overwhelm them and burst them into goo in no time. For some reason all I can picture is the cartoon version of Xavier falling out of his chair screaming like in every battle scene in the animated show
Also, after Apocalypse (and Wolverine II & Deadpool) they NEED to do a 90s decade-set movie where the main focus is Scott, Jean, Storm, Beast and a couple of others forming the X-Men team. If they don't, let me go punch Singer on Sunset Boulevard.

I know, the escape is would be impossible, but I'd like to see that. It's never going to happen of course... But this way, we could see the old cast (well at least the remaining ones if we're not considering resurrection, and of course we do ).
The First Class trilogy ends with Apocalypse, I'm really curious what movies we'll get after that (except Wolverine movies), and who will be in it. The 90s X-Men idea is pretty cool, I'd like to see that.
Oh, am I the only one who's not here for Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool?

It'll all be in the voice since we won't see his face for the important parts. As long as they make Deadpool R-rated and not PG-13 crap I'll be IN and then some for it.
90s X-Men-themed movie is an absolute must. Any X-Men fan will tell you the 90s cartoon is one of the staples of the franchise, it HAS to happen... (give me giant white-caped Storm and hilarious pink Sentinels that speak yaaaassss!)

you need to watch the original it's dated. And some of the jokes . But it's really so mature and well done one of the top twenty best cartoons of all time (2nd superhero cartoon to batman).
____________
But yeah I don't think the x men trilogy will ever die, I see it going along the lines of the james bond series. With so much characters and story arcs it couldn't really end ya know.
But in the future I would want to see an:
. x force movie
. x factor
. a movie just based on the new mutants
. mr. sinister get spotlight as a villain.
. A proper phoenix story arc with the hellfire club being the villains etc....
Watching that future clip made me remember just how amazing and stand out the future scenes were, it really made the film special I really hope apocalypse is more like the future scenes in DOFP, but I don't think any of the old cast has been confirmed to return yet
I hate how Evolution gave such a poor depiction of Storm, she was struggling to do anything when she got a rare scene instead of fighting to control her powers going nuts which is what she's supposed to be doing. The original X-Men series is brilliant because it's unapologetically lifted straight from the comics - most episodes end with everyone being in a giant battle to the kick ass theme song It's seriously worth watching, and most of it is on Youtube!
