So far 5 dates for her Fair tour. That's great. Hopefully there's some more announced soon. I'm hoping she does at least 12 dates in total. It'd be a good way to showcase her music.

The Asian Excellence Awards is an annual celebration of the outstanding achievements of Asians and Asian Americans in film, television, music, and the performing arts. This year’s show, hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba and Bobby Lee, will reach a broad national televised audience with the premiere on E! Entertainment on May 1 at 6 p.m. ET/PT. The show will also be available on Comcast On Demand throughout the month of May in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
Its unknown if Vanessa will be making an appearance.

As Simon Cowell is so keen to remind contestants, American Idol is, above all else, a singing competition, and as such some impressive musically inclined stars have also joined the guest spot ranks. Friend of the show Celine Dion will appear, as will High School Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale.
Idol alums Eliott Yamin and Fantasia have also signed on.
Earlier this month, Fox rolled out the guest star big guns, unveiling the first batch of A-list supporters to lend their celebrity to the worthy episode. Brad Pitt, Bono, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Annie Lennox, Snoop Dogg, Fergie, John Legend, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry were revealed as participants.
Last year's inaugural event raised more than $76 million for a variety of charities at home and abroad, all of which benefit underprivileged and poverty-stricken children.
"Idol Gives Back" airs April 9.

^ Most are fairs but one was an amusement park. I'm thinking she is going to do a few days on her own with Jordan opening for her possibly and a few with Corbin.

The 1st single off of Vanessa Hudgens' sophomore album is titled "Speakernight" and will premiere next Friday April 11th!!!
Vanessa's sophomore album drops June 24th, 2008.

Hopefully this song is a club banga since her last album lacked some ... it was more ballads & mid-tempos with a few up-tempos.
