This song could have been something good if A) the lyrics didn't sound like they were written by a 5th grader and B) the beat sounds kind of dated one hand but then on the other hand it kind of works, it's weird. Something about this song is not vibing all the way completely.

I like it in the sense that he's really trying a different direction, especially in the midst of today's current mainstream music sound.

However, the song is slightly jumbled & weirdly structured. At times it sounds like 3 or 4 different songs into one.

It's a more mature sound though, and I like the direction. It's not bad.

It'll do well though, despite not being a huge smash single.
