Ch...let's not with the "only in America" talk because One Direction, Scherzy, & Cher Lloyd are popular over on your side of the pond. And that ish is scary.

Like, you have to say "Melissa Etheridge." You can't just say "Melissa." People would think you're talking about the girl up the street, or your cousin, or some ****. At least when we say "Kylie" it means "Kylie Minogue."

No shade, but i cant help but notice that Madonna stans tend to over hype her talent and superiority
mentioning of the 80's and 90's
80's success and impact: Whitney Houston > Madonna
90's success: Mariah and Celine > Madonna
Madonna held her own in the 00's because the lack of her 80's and 90's competition was at a all time,
once Talent became a factor to music, Madonna was viewed as gimmicky and non talented
and this is no shade, just a simple fact

Britney and Taylor Swift so low?
Katy Perry over Rihanna?
Shakira four places from Nicki?
And '19' got Adele that rank? That's absurd.
Edit: Thought it was of the past decade, but still, Adele's way too high.

I honestly don't know where to start. First an foremost, we're not talking about success. We're talking about influence and artistry. And gal, in what twisted world was Whitney more successful than MADONNA in the 80s. I'm concerned.

You said the truth HOWEVER the key to success is not being a flash in the pan with 1 huge album and then disappear from the face of Earth. Madonna was never the biggest in 1 specific year but she kept being relevant to this day unlike others.

Greatest Woman In Music for their career accomplisments over the last 20 years?
Mariah, Whitney, Spice Girls, Britney, Gwen, TLC, Alanis, Celene, Shania
their accomplishments and impact in the industry in the 90's and 2000's are clearly snubbed having newbies ranking higher than them. lets not even with Britney being behind Xtina when clearly Britney was a bigger act than her in the late 90's and early 2000's. Truth be told they both deserve being in the top 10 outselling their peers aka Jessica / Mandy / Coco / and other girls. but Britney behind Xtina?! only a fool would believe in that bs!

Talent is not only voice. Madonna's music is way more interesting, remembered and praised than Xtina's.
