I hate to admit it, but I quite like it. I kinda lost all my liking towards her when Bad Romance came out. This is the first song I've liked from her in a long time. Does anyone know the meaning behind it?

She wrote it after her grandfather passed away. He was on the edge of glory.


THANK YOU FERNANDO GARIBAY. I really hope she continues to work with him a bit after this era is over. They make really different stuff together. Dance in the Dark and Edge of Glory are two of her best songs. I can't even imagine what Marry the Night is gonna be like.

It's about the very last moment of your life (kind of where the title comes from, the edge/point of glory) and Wikipedia says it was inspired by her grandfather's passing.

God, it is consistently epic, play after play. She has to stop slaying me like this.

It was written during the time of her Grandfather's death. It's about your last moments on earth and the "moments of truth" with the ones you love. It's about running "to the edge" and just falling in love.
