DANITY KANE DEBUTS “LEMONADE” ON TRL
Danity Kane made a surprise (to the viewers) appearance on the hit MTV music countdown show, TRL to give the world the first taste [in full] of their brand-new single featuring Tyga, “Lemonade”. Ever since 2005-2006, MTV has been behind the wheel of much of Danity Kane’s success. And now, coming back as a trio without the reality show production crew, MTV is still being very generous to the lovely ladies. In the past on TRL, Danity Kane has garnered much success, having all four of their music videos enter the Top Ten on the countdown. Their debut single, “Show Stopper” peaked at #2 on the countdown. Their next video, “Ride For You” peaked at #5. Bouncing back with “Damaged” for a new era, the video peaked at #4. And to close things off as the five, “Bad Girl” featuring Missy Elliot peaked at #6. The return of Danity Kane is set to be big, as they gear up for the release of “Lemonade” next Sunday. So, might as well go back, to exactly where they started.
Host: Ladies and gentlemen, we are delighted to give a GREAT “Welcome Back!” to Danity Kane. Hi ladies.
Danity Kane: Hey!
Host: So what’s the vibe right now, how are you feeling?
Aubrey: We’re feeling incredible. This is our first TV appearance in quite some time, so we’re ready to bring it.
Host: I know what you guys are probably thinking - why is Danity Kane here right now? Would y’all like to do the honors?
Shannon: We’re here, because our new single “Lemonade” comes out on Sunday. AND, it will actually be available for pre-order on iTunes right after our performance. We decided that we should come here and give TRL a little exclusive, and our fans a little treat for being so patient. So we’re going to perform “Lemonade” for the first time in a bit. So yes, it’s very exciting!
Host: Why stop here out of all the places you could go?
Dawn: Well back in the day, I don’t know if our audience knows this, but we were on this show called Making the Band here on MTV. And us three, plus Aundrea and Wanita/D. Woods were formed into Danity Kane. So MTV was our platform, and we had some pretty good success here on TRL. So we wanted to get in touch with our roots.
Host: Come here, let’s take a seat for a moment. So - what can we expect from this upcoming album?
Dawn: It’s a mini-collection of very diverse tracks. Between our last two albums, there’s no real cohesiveness or connection. Plus, there wasn’t as much diversity as we would’ve like to release. There’s just a lot more to Danity Kane than people may think, based on our previous projects. We have some Rock influences, Dance influences, Pop/Urban… it’s, it’s something we’re very proud of.
Host: How do you think your true fans, who’ve waited just about six years, will react to this material?
Shannon: Oh, they’ll love it.
Dawn: Yeah, we tried to incorporate our roots from when we started out, to our new fans who may be discovering us now. It’s the perfect blend of what’s true to us, and what’s hot right now.
Aubrey: Absolutely. And this around, we get to create our own music. It’s not like we’re being thrown these songs at left and right, we are in control of what’s happening with our music and we get to make all the final decisions.
Host: I thought you girls just got signed to a label though?
Aubrey: Yeah, what’s funny is that they don’t really care what we’d like to put out. I mean after they heard “Lemonade”, they backed us up 110%.
Shannon: It’s a very good feeling to know that we have professionals nurturing our comeback, and that they truly stand behind the music that we’re making.
Host: Is the album wrapped up yet?
Dawn: The mini-collection just got mastered last week. It’s being packaged now, and it’ll be all ready to go in a few days, but it won’t be released for a little bit.
Host: Going into a brand-new era - what are you ladies aiming for?
Aubrey: Well, this isn’t exactly a full-on era, but releasing this new project and putting out singles - we hope to have longevity. It’s one thing to do very well in your release week, but it’s another thing to keep it going for weeks and weeks to come.
Shannon: But going beyond the success, we want to make new fans everyday and just really have people loving the music.
Host: What’s so special about “Lemonade” that you’ve decided to make it your lead single?
Dawn: I guess we’ll just have to show you…
Host: Okay then, right after the break we will be back with the Exclusive Live Premiere of Danity Kane’s new single, “Lemonade”.
After the commercial break played, the host once again introduced Danity Kane with the premiere of “Lemonade”. The lights dimmed and the girls stood in a three-woman pyramid formation (one in the front and two behind), all faced backwards. A yellow spotlight cast upon Dawn who turned around and began to rap her verse. (“Love it, when I’m flexin’ up in my car / Door swing open, for my passenger") Dawn’s arm extends and floats to the left, making a semi-circle motion. (“Look up in the mirror, fix my mascara”) She then slides her hand on her forehead and (“People wanna know, who the hell is her”) she swings her left arm in the air as if she’s rioting. As the instrumental keeps playing, she continues rapping her lines, bending into a squat position and popping her ***** left and right exactly in-sync with the baseline, which stuns the host. She finishes the rap going back to her initial position at the beginning of the song. More spotlights, of white and yellow are added as the girls go into the chorus.
(“Oooh / These haters got a, sour ass look up on they face”) The girls strutted forward, looking fierce as ****. They all wore black/white/yellow attire, looking very edgy and stylish while executing the choreography. The girls belted out the word of the single “lemonade” effortlessly, as they swerved their arms to show off parts of their body, but in a very classy manner. (“They lookin’ so thirsty, might just need a drink / Lemonade, lemonade / Lemonade, lemonade”) The trio all swayed left and right, then blasted their fists out on-point with the rhythm to form a cup. The music stopped as Aubrey spoke a little bit: “You lookin’, pretty ****in’ mad right now. You lookin’ all, sour and ****. For real though, you could use some lemonade.”
Aubrey stepped into the front, starting her verse. (“I feel your eyes, on me / I like how, it feel / I hope that you, enjoyed your five / But I’ll take it from here”) She walks up even further to the camera, puts five fingers in the camera and skips back to the group. (“I’m late, to the party / But I’m always, on time”) The girls sway their hips and pop left-to-right in a slow motion, flipping their hair as well. Shannon stepped out, with her soft ’n sweet voice to sing the pre-chorus. (“Who cares, if we turn up every night / The top down, when we pull up at the light”) She approaches the front of the girls, as they have made a full rotation as to whom the center of attention is. During the rest of the pre-chorus, every two beats, a snap would be heard in the instrumental. The girls snapped and stuck a pose, each complimenting each other’s with every pose they struck.
The chorus rung once again, with all the three dominating and getting TURNT on the floor. Dawn couldn’t stop getting low and popping a bit, Aubrey kept her hair flowing at all times, and Shannon’s feet beat to the rhythm non-stop. Using about 70% of the moves from the previous chorus, the second chorus was slayed, and Dawn got into her singing verse. (“I’m rockin’, my Sunnies / To block, all the shade”) She transitions into the middle of the array, which is now a line rather than the pyramid formation they previously held. Dawn makes her hand cover her face like a visor, as she makes a bit of a sour ass. She ways slowly with Aubrey and Dawn while singing the “party” lyrics. Shannon once again steps to the center to sing the pre-chorus. However, this time, the snap poses are different, and more intricate-looking, almost jointed with the other girls’ poses.
The third time the chorus played came, and the girls did more harmonizing. Dawn, Aubrey and Shannon each got a turn in belting out the “lemonade” lyric as the other two sang it softly. Some drumbeats came, and some lights flickered as Tyga began to rap (via playback). The girls entered a dance breakdown, which stunned the viewers back home, and the host. Flipping their hair, spinning and doing more dance moves incorporating their arms - the three full-on SLAYED the breakdown. Smoke cracked up as they sang the final lyric (curing the song a little short) in harmony: “Lemonade, lemonade”.
The host came up to congratulate Danity Kane on a fantastic performance, and they all hugged. In addition, he played the music video for their biggest hit yet, “Damaged” after the break. At the end of the episode, the three expressed their gratitude for the incredible opportunity and reminded fans that “Lemonade” will be released on Sunday, June 29th. But for the DediKated Crew, the single would be available for pre-order on iTunes just minutes away.

Nighthawks' radio debut at 102.7 KIIS-FM LA
"I am a woman of my word albeit a few slip-ups. We all make mistakes and it doesn't take long to witness the cracks beneath the perfectly masked facade of what society strives to be. Accept what may come your way since a lot is said and done - at the end of the day."
We had a special someone visit our radio station today guys. It was none other than Christina Aguilera! The recently birthed-out Aguilera met up with us earlier in the morning and had a quick chat about all things Xtina. She even rocked her amaszingly lavish diamond ring who was given by her husband, Matt Rutler.
Here at the studio, Legend X gave us the honours of spinning her mystifying lead single "Nighthawks" for you guys. The track itself is an innovative take on fresh neo-soul with an indie twist and urban elements, which is reminiscent of Christina's smash hit buzz single "Eclectic". We're pretty sure that Aguilera will break boundaries with "Nighthawks". There's simply no doubt about that, listeners.
"Nighthawks" is now available EVERYWHERE.

KELLY Clarkson APPEARS ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA, ANNOUNCES TACO BELL PROMOTION!
Kelly Clarkson sat down today with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America to announce her new single, “You Don’t Need Me” and to perform the song LIVE for the first time!
Her segment begins with her in a stunning red dress in front of a crowd. Her vocals were spot on and she even belted the lyrics.
There were serious goosebumps as she hit the lines with such angst and passion
“And I know that it’s a sin
Wanting you this bad again”
Robin Roberts couldn’t resist during the following interview to ask:
RR: Kelly, were you singing about me in the song?
KC: Robin, I am married and have an infant daughter who runs my label. Can we move on past the rumors?
RR: I’ll take that as a yes.
KC: [laughs]
RR: So, obviously this is your best song ever. What was the inspiration in writing it?
KC: Well, my fans really like when I sing dark breakup songs that are kind of edgy. You know, Since U Been Gone, Stronger and so on.
RR: Great. Now, what’s this about a Taco Bell deal?
KC: Oh! I have eaten thousands of tacos in my life and I thought, how can I tie that into a song? Well, I couldn’t but then Taco Bell offered me a promotional sponsorship. The single cover is featured in their stores across the country, the song is playing in the background on a new television ad campaign, which will also air during the Super Bowl and they even have a Stronger Taco filled with seasoned beef, steak, hot sauce, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and a spicy jalapeno in the middle for some edge.
RR: I’ll definitely be having Taco Bell after this.
KC: Well, anyone who shows a copy of their receipt for the purchase of my song also gets a free Stronger Taco!
RR: That’s some smart marketing.
KC: It really is!
RR: Thanks for your time Kelly! When we get back, Elvis and Michael Jackson sit down with me to expose their secrets about faking their own deaths. And later, is it wedding bells for the Locke Ness Monster and Bigfoot? We’ll be right back.
