I really can't believe people take art so seriously. Why is it a competition? There are many great videos, but so far this is the most disturbing which art is supposed to be. Rihanna finally got one right this era. "7/11" and "Bad Blood" are not any less great, you can still enjoy them all.
Why do people view music videos differently than they do movies? I don't understand what the difference is when the artist is obviously playing a character and telling a story. Not everything is rainbows and sunshine on screen bc not everything is rainbows and sunshine in reality. What's with the "OMG! Torturing that poor woman was disasteful!" comments when people live for thriller/slasher/horror films daily? Shut up
Just watched it. Definitely a step up for Rihanna's videography. She knows she's hurting commercially and she just upped the ante. Props to her for that.

Why would she waste such an amazing video on such a garbage song though? I mean I guess I kinda like the song a little more but a different song would make this video more replayable.
