Anyone have any tea on these companies that follow the "pyramid scheme". You pay to join and "start your business", and getting others to join the business is more important than actually selling products. Pyramid schemes are illegal but it's masked as "network marketing". And their behaviour is very cult like

Like this one girl I follow on Instagram sells these energy drinks called Verve from this pyramid scheme company Vemma, and their website it so full of ****, saying how they make millionaires and everything the sad thing is she really thinks she's going to become a super successful millionaire selling energy drinks to her friends

I was thinking about this earlier but what about the Kpop industry?
I mean, they're basically all label puppets but that's just the system there with the training programs starting very early on in their lives.

That said, YG Entertainment always finds one way or another to include symbolism into their videos/imagery.
BIGBANG and 2NE1 being the biggest targets it seems.

BIGBANG's new video 'BAE BAE' seems to include quite a lot of symbolism as well and all their solo activities had some typical symbolism in it as well.
YG's the most obvious but SM also has it's fair share of symbolism in their artists' works.

Anyone know how that industry works or is it pretty much the same thing as in the US etc.?

Yeah my friend joined one selling coffee and was convinced he would be retired after two years. It didn't work out and he said he was done with network marketing, only to be pulled into Amway, one of the biggest pyramid scheme companies. Once again he thinks he's going to be a millionaire and retire


And after finding this MK blog it's eerie how much he fits under it ... his personality has completely changed... so robotic and talks like if he's programmed. He always tries to get my friends to go to some "event" but he doesn't want to explain what it is. He doesn't remember simple things that he did or said to us recently (after the coffee didn't work out he had a lot of family problems because he got his family involved in it.. his mom didn't have a job and was going to lose her house... the other day he very creepily told my brother that "life is great " my brother asked about how the family problems were going and he had no idea what my brother was talking about ) And just yesterday after declining numerous times to attend his "event", my brother asked him if he would like to go out with my family and he got the creepiest response yet: "That sounds lovely, I would love to take you up on that offer, let me ask my mentor " Who is this "mentor" to tell him what he can or can't do with his friends? We're really creeped out, sounds kind of like a handler Not to mention just his reply.. he never talked so weird before he changed.

TBH washing people's mind is not that hard, I have seen and talked with people who attends some religious churches and they are all ****ed up, they act like crazy people, they give them their money, usually they go for the weakest people with no education.
