Ok so i went on a rampage shopping spree today. I will genuinely say I'm done makeup shopping for a good while, apart from buying a product here and there.
I literally wiped away half the cash that just got transferred into my account today, but its so worth it
Setting/Fixing Sprays:
- Mac Fix+ : The OG of setting sprays. Can be used before or after makeup, keeps face hydrated and glues makeup together.
- All Nighter: Locks on makeup to your face basically all night. Won't budge.
- Makeup Forever Mist: Kind of a mix between Fix + and All Nighter. It hydrates your face and locks your makeup, but the combo of Fix + and All Nighter remain supreme.
- Smashbox photo finish spray: Its meant to hydrate your face but i feel like i'll use this with a primer.
Beauty Blender:
- Nude one for applying moisturisers and serums, especially under the eye.
- Black one because i feel the pink one never gets rid of all that dirt, so i decided to give black a try.
Brushes/Sponges:
- Makeup Forever Contour Fan brush: Saw Jeffree star use this for contouring and was like DAMN, i need that.
- Sephora Kabooki (sp?) brush for setting/brushing loose powder
- Mac Bronzing Brush because the one i use is way too big
- Mac Highlighting Brush because i wanted to try highlighting without a fan type brush
- MAC Sponge for setting loose powder
Bronzers:
- Mac Vibe Tribe Matte Bronzer: It looked really pretty when i swatched it
- Bahama Mama: Everyone i know uses this and it gives them that gorgeous tan bronze without the cancer rays from the sun
Eyebrows:
- Gimmie Brow Gel and Eyebrow pencil from benefit. Packaging is SO cute and they sculpt the perfect brows
- Eyebrow primer and serum: I HAD no idea this existed. But its a primer to keep your eyebrows from smudging AND it helps promote growth/thickening of brows.
Skincare:
- La Mer moisturising Serum since my Estee Lauder ran out, i'll try this and give you guys a comparison soon.
- La Mer Lip Balm because the sales person tricked me into thinking i needed an expensive lip balm
- Clinique Take The Day off Balm. Just used this. AMAZING. Makeup melted and i didn't have to use wipes (which are the devil) I washed it off with the makeup GLOV remover which can be used up to 3 months and is so gentle on the skin.
- Clinique Serum & Clinique Argan Oil because i cant say no to a sales lady.
Primers:
- Smashbox Photofinish: I have the pore minimiser but i heard amazing things about this type of primer. We'll see if it lives up to the hype.
- Makeup Forever Oil Primer: For when i want to go clubbing but stay matte.
Setting Powders:
- Burberry Nude Setting Powder because the sales lady wouldn't stop. (no seriously it took me 10 minutes to get her off me, i just lied and said i had everything she was going to sell me).
- Laura Mercier Setting Powder: FINALLY, this is apparently the HBIC of Setting/loose Powders so i cant wait to try it.
Other stuffs include Benefit Highlighter Stick, Lip Stain from Benefit & Bahama Mama, Body Bronzer from Hola/Benefit and rest are samples they gave me.

ugh makeup ****, i love it let us know which items u love n don't!
i am not a big makeup person but anastasia beverly hills lip gloss is incredible. i don't have to use a lip pencil or lipstick because it's very pigmented. i have it in fudge and i love it
edit: if anyone can help me find an inexpensive bronzer for black/brown-skinned people i would be very appreciative. also an inexpensive pore-refining primer.

You should definitely invest in a sunscreen though. Your night creams and serums become pointless if you don't wear sunscreen during the day because the sun will just damage your skin.

Girl, that's not true, especially for people who avoid the sun or don't get a lot of exposure. You can also be out in the sun for 20 min at a time without the need for sunscreen. Any longer than that then it might be a good idea for sunscreen.
So I'm guessing y'all heard about the UK leaving EU. Everything is on sale on Amazon UK because the pound currency is decreasing. A mess, let me buy some concealer whole I'm at it.

Waaaaaaaait I just heard bananas can be used as a moisturizer for dry skin, is that true?
Yes mixing that with yoghurt and leaving it as a mask would definitely hydrate your skin! Then slice some cucumbers or potatoes and put those over your eyes with the mask.
Ultimate Veggie/Fruit hydration!

If you can manage to squeeze some fresh orange juice into that (packed with vitamin C and helps collagen synthesis) it would be even better. The more Vitamins the merrier i say
Congrats ugh I feel you. I HATE it when a place doesn't have your product! I remember I went to four different stores all over London looking for eyebrow pomade. Smh, fifth time lucky.
Anyways, what concealer did you get sis?
A sad mess.. Now it's to find a good translucent powder, they're out of that too
I just got the one by LA Girl.
