Now that I'm back from my requested ban I can post my thoughts on the album;
Its more cohesive and higher quality than Overexposed. It seems more mature.
The hooks aren't quite as good as Overexposed because of it being so cohesive, etc
The first 3 songs are the best on the album, followed by Feelings
My Heart Is Open was good at first, but after the novelty of Gwen faded I don't really use it
Coming Back For You is the only one I don't use at all
Just bought the album and now listening for the third time.
My favorites so far are It Was Always You, In Your Pocket, Shoot Love, Unkiss Me and Leaving California. I am very underwhelmed by the Gwen Stefani collaboration, but I still think it's good, just expected more.
I know they're releasing the catchy songs as singles (Maps, Animals) so I hope In Your Pocket has a shot! I really like that song so much!
I love this album. Maroon 5 have created a perfect sound for themselves
Maps. Animals, Unkiss Me, Sugar, Leaving California, Coming Back for You and My Heart Is Open are my favorites.
I expect many hits for them this era.
