Unfortunately, this strengthens the political divide in Indonesia, and once again minority extremists with a loud voice have gotten what they want thru threats of violence. It is unlikely we will see any other pop singers tour there anytime soon, as they will surely face very similar threats.

But it's a damn shame her message was unable to be conveyed because of idiots who are blind aas to her true image and intentions. If they hadn't been this ****ing stupid about the situation in the first place the concert could continue and perhaps they'd see what she's really about. Sure there's sexual and religious imagery in her work, but the former is not as heavy as people like to make it out to be, and the latter certainly is not in a negative light.

It's not exactly the first time physical threats have been issued to musicians. Religious extremists do have quite the reputation, though.
