I don't know why people keep saying this as if Chris is the only R&B artist that has tried to come out in the past decade. And as if NUMEROUS R&B males haven't tried and failed.
Lloyd, Omarion, Bobby Valentino, Mario they all had good runs and they just couldn't hold. Am not understanding how it's Chris' fault that he is superior and more wanted. The fact that he was able to outlast and still be bigger than all of these people even WITH all his legal issues and beating Rihanna.
It's always the ones who aren't afraid to go pop and expand their fanbase who end up holding up over time.
