I was listening to my iPod and We Belong Together came on. Even though I'm an infrequent poster, something completely shocked me that caused me to post here in the middle of the night. My ear phones are a little messed up so if you twist the end near the port the audio fades in and out so you can only hear out of one ear and such. However, this time something similar, but completely different happenned. I can hear fine out of both ears, but the song changed. It's still We Belong Together, but it's like the version without the main vocals in the song. It's just the instrumental and backing vocals. You can only hear what I think is the reverb of the main vocals, because they are very faint and echoy, whereas the adlibs are crystal clear. The chorus sounds completely different, but still great. She sings "We belong together, together/Come back, come back" over "When you left I lost a part of me/It's still so hard to believe/Come back baby please." Now I was wondering if an offical version like that was ever released or if I accidentally discovered it? I tried to record it with my phone, but it's ver low quality. Does anyone know anything about this? Please help.

u never noticed the "We belong togetheeeeeer .. togetheeeeeer .. come back come back , come back come back" and then it goes "oooooooooh oooooh ooooooooh"
it's actually easily distinguishable if u focus on the backing vocals .. Mariah always has 2-3 sounds singing at the same time, she's the queen of harmonizing
