Do you think RCA should add a rap part at the part at the beginning of the song like E.T or What's My Name ??? It may help the song to get played on other stations besides Top 40 and Hot AC. Otherwise, they can release another version on itunes to help Smile debut high on Hot 100 and give a little push for airplay ??

Well, it will help the song but people will call her a sellout. And I think Avril will fight with RCA(again) to not include a rapper in her song.
I hope if Smile is the 2nd single, RCA can give it a lot of big promo since it's the single that they want. Don't see Push have any support from them.

RCA should really focus on promotion, Im talking about the BIG GUNS such as Ellen. The album is AMAZING the way it is. The songs are EPIC. Avril is a true hero and artist for fighting for what the believes and refuse to follow the dance/pop trend. Avril could have easily gone to Shellback, Martin, Darkchild, and Dr. Luke; sat down & write a meaningless song, use autotune and turn it into a BIG INTERNATIONAL HIT. She is following her heart and what the believes. You just dont see an artist fighting her label to release something that might or might not sell, nowadays. For that, millions of people admire her and love her, including myself/

Yeah, i know it would be pathetic but it's in case she/RCA wants a hit badly. Smile and WYWH are her only chances to save the album sales. All they need is give it a good promotion

Oh dear god no. It would never shut her fans up. And then EVERYONE would be on Avril's back. The GF Remix worked because Avril genuinely liked it and the two had chemistry. Plus GF was that kinda song.

Maybe if the same happens, and Avril finds herself wanting a remix AFTER Smile becomes really popular, that'd help give it another boost/extra longevity. But otherwise I don't think it'd be helpful.

Honestly it's time to announce the new single. :/ It's nearly April, and we can start preparing to ENSURE that it's a hit.
