The biggest plot hole of all for me was how are there so many witches across the entire damn country and they somehow know that one of the FOUR in the mansion is the next Supreme? At first I thought maybe they had to be a part of their group and it's just that coven's Supreme, but that doesn't make sense because when they found Misty Cordelia was sure it was her. And Misty wasn't part of their coven at the time.
Poor writing again.
I liked the history background they based this season on though (Salem and all) and I wish they featured more about that.
My conclusion for Coven is that at it was an OK, enjoyable season. The first half was very strong and promising, but something seemed to go wrong after the break. You win some you lose some, but when I look back at it (especially the first episodes, they were epic IMO) I can't say Coven was a terrible season.
My problem was the lack of utilization of the theme. So much could have been done with witches. Exploring familiars, potions, demons, etc. It could have been so eerie and creepy. But they were pretty much just mutants from X-Men. No spells needed to be performed for their powers. They just did it. It was like a superhero show.
I'm tired of them giving Jessica these long, drawn out goodbyes. Like, her entire death at the end of Asylum was SO long and I was so bored watching her wither away on the finale of Coven. I was so hoping she would slit Cordelia's throat like she did Madison and then kill the other two witches. But no, she just died. Defeated and sad.
I was really expecting more of a shocking ending. It was all too predictable.
When Zoe got impaled, I got both excited and shocked, mostly because I thought Cordelia's vision was becoming true. I mean, Misty was already dead and we seen either Zoe or Madison impaled in Cordelia's vision, so I thought there was going to be a shocking, dark twist. Oh well.
They need to give Evan another flawless role ala Kit Walker. Not here for him just being in the show to be a love interest. Which was basically all he was.

This too. Zoe was obviously a Necromancer but they never explored or stated that Could have been an awesome theme to give to Zoe's character, breathe some life into her which Kyle failed to bring.

I guess Prue, Piper & Phoebe were mutants too because they did the same...
I screamed when Zoe died. It was such a funny scene. "Let us have fun!!" *gets imapled*
How did it even happen though? Did she think it would be fun to teleport on top the fence? Did she really think that was a good idea? Dumb bitch.
I was like this bitch is gonna do something stupid, I believe she tried to leave the school and then she appeared there, you can't get any dumber than that
Zoe's hell was the defining moment of her character.
As if there was ANY shred of doubt she was the epithome of a basic bitch to the core. I'm glad Madison refused to bring her drab, sad, stupid ass back. The fly had more vivacity and capacity to sass.
