There's also what I like to call "radio filler". A good example is Paula DeAnda's "Walk Away". That song was a good jam, but it wasn't anything that I wanted to run out and buy. I bopped to it when it came on the radio, and that's about it. There's songs that sound good on radio and get a good response, but people just don't care to buy and have in their catalog of music.
