Unfortunately. She has some talent, but she would be a better songwriter if she weren't one-dimensional. There are many songs written by her that I haven't heard, but I can tell that they are terrible just by looking at their cringeworthy titles.
What? Well, if you don't like romantic songs I can't blame you for not being attracted to her songs
When Titanic finally ends with Rose falling asleep and you see all the photographs of the accomplishments she and Jack said they'd do together, her going back to the Titanic with all of the dead people who impacted her life in her dreams, My Heart Will Go On playing immediately after. It's just all so much sensory overload.
What sucked about the 90's is that SO much music from that era sounds exactly the same, especially R&B. I love a good 90's R&B jam, but Christ, it felt like there were 20 variations of the same exact R&B love/sex song on the radio every year.

Chalk Mark In A Rainstorm really deserves a big audience, as big as anything the contemporary females have. It's not difficult music. I was disappointed that the company couldn't somehow or other - I was disappointed in the industry at large, that had closed me out from the marketplace, so to speak, that no one would allow me the normal venues that are open to announce that you have product out, with pride. Or that nobody saw. Except Janet Jackson saw it - and she touted it in her interview. The best review I got from that record was from Janet Jackson
Can someone please save Kate Win****? It hurts me to watch the most talented actress of her generation keep making bad decisions. Her last great performance was in Mildred Pierce in 2011.
