My question is where do we go from here? It's not hyperbole to say as a society we're heading to a literal idiocracy. 52% of conservatives think Trump won the popular vote. That's not an opinion to be argued, it's either right or wrong and so many of them just choose to believe whatever they want and defend it to the death. How do you discuss anything with them?

the funny thing is that all those national polls in that last week showed Hillary leading by 2-3 points and she won the popular vote by about 2.5% in the end so really the polling wasn't that inaccurate after all

Keep telling them the truth. Some may be stuck on what they seen on Election Day (which showed Trump ahead).
