I've gotten almost all of my straight friends to admit they like Taylor's music to me in private. One super masculine dude even told me he loves Kesha.

I think what helps them admit that they like a song by a woman is if a guy is also on it. With Work and Closer, it's seen as ok because Drake and The Chainsmokers are males. It also helps if the woman has indie cred. Straight guys can freely be fans of Florence because she's seen as more respectable being in a band.
