Honestly, I'm really disappointed in Nicki for releasing this. PNP, though not really what most of us wanted, was one her of most mature songs to date. That, along with her new style and return to form in rapping, really had me thinking she was going to end up with a really high quality and mature era.

It isn't anything like that though. I know you are saying urban crowd (meaning blogs and people), but I've seen BOTH eat this song up. The reactions to the HQ version of this song have been the exact same for other Nicki tracks in the past.

If someone like YG can come thru with an IGNORANT anthem like My Hitta and get 80 on Metacritic, Nicki can survive with her fun song that blogs (esp. among the urban community) enjoy and like the sample.

When you see someone praise Nicki's lyricism in Anaconda, come back.

I'm not saying that people won't bop to it, I'm just saying that Nicki's lyrics are on the D-list.
