Lady Gaga was top 10 with Edge of Glory.
Nicki Minaj was top 10 with Super Bass.
Adele was top 10 with Rolling in the Deep.
Britney Spears was top 10 with Till The World Ends.
JLo was top 10 with On The Floor.
Katy Perry was top 10 with ET.
Rihanna was top 10 with S&M.
And Taylor Swift was down in the fifties with Her cute lil country hits.
Flash forward to today and Taylor is owning the top 10 while the others are lucky if their singles hit the top 40 / chart at all.
Taylor exclusively catering for the pop crowd is such a risky move in the long run. Such a fickle genre, and her pop is not the A/C kind that kept Kelly and Pink afloat.
Gaga wanted Aura as her lead single and thought every song on AP was a hit. You still want that LG5 lead single?
She isn't a rebellious child anymore and is back to being a slave to her new manager. I have faith. Applause was one of the best songs of 2013. I have faith for Godga's creative comeback. Less so the numbers that it will bring in.. I just hope it outpeaks G.U.Y. and Marry The Night.
Katy's acting in TOTGA. She can't pull off something that's poignant and sincere. She doesn't have the depth.

"[Gaga's] unhappy with conventional beauty; she doesn’t like things to look perfectly pretty all the time — she likes to feel a little like a punk," says the lady behind Gaga's brows, makeup artist Sarah Tanno. "She’s rebellious, so a lot of times if I do something really pretty, she’ll want to **** it up." http://www.refinery29.com/2015/07/91...um=tweet#slide
