You just said that LGBT rights weren't popular among Democrats a while ago. It would be a different story if LGBT rights had always had wide acceptance among Democrats. You just stated that they haven't been, though, which means she, along with a lot of other Democrats, came to see the issue in a different light. You might as well say that all Democrats are flip-floppers.
