I mustn't have been there.
But it's true, ever since the 'American Life' mess she's been playing it safe. They're not awful, but it's stuff pretty much any popstar could do - with a Madonna 'twist', as opposed to just being by Madonna.
She needs to get David Fincher doing something useful again.

At least she's not changing the whole costumes like other pop girls are doing, I don't really like that

'Hung Up' was still on par tho, don't you think? If by 'AL' you mean the single then I must say 'Hollywood' is definitely one of the best videos she's done
I miss that Madonna 'twist' but something tells 'Unapologetic Bitch' will change that

'Hung Up' was a cute dance video with the whole 'music as unity between cultures' thing, but look at her videos from '86 to '95 and tell me it would rank anywhere amongst them in terms of quality.
Maybe it will. Some of the scenes in GGW and TUTR were a good start.

Is that Cher shade?
I swear if this surprise release is Gaga x Britney I'm going to be so let down. I don't even want it to be Rihanna considering the album will be filler with two singles standing out.

I think I like it that much because the music fits the video so well

More importantly, would I call Cher a pop girl? I just hate costume changes in general, you once have a costume for that part so wear it, bitch
Rihanna sounds about right tho

Don't @ me.

I think exactly the same !
She should hire whomever does her tour videos to make her music videos as well .
I mean, Nobody Knows Me alone >>>>
I think that one reason fot that is that since they will only be shown at her own shows she feels more free to experiment and let her creativity flows while when she releases an official music video to one of her singles she feels the pressure to remain relevant and that shortens her possibilities .

Yeah, I don't think you're far off the mark there. She's certainly a lot more creative on tour than she is in the studio these days - hopefully she'll apply that creativity to the new record though.

It scared the **** out of me when I discovered the album, I hated the song, now (after GGW's intro) I adore it!

Visually the tour is stunning, but I didn't like how some parts of her costumes changed as they compiled footage for a few dates and she was wasn't consistent with her costume pieces.
|
Tbh I didn't even notice until someone pointed it out but I did notice the stage difference between the stadium and arena size.

She's a pop GODDESS! I actually like then they change their outfits, but after going to see Cher in concert and seeing how long the process was, she coulda damn thrown in almost 10 songs (no word of a lie, she's got about 30 minutes of intros and interludes).

But after seeing how much work went into #ArtForFreedom and how visually stunning it was, I would love for her to take reigns and just do videos her own way and not care about views. Release them to YouTube, Vevo and iTunes, let's be real, I can't remember the last Madonna music video I saw past the Hard Candy era.

That's my opinion as well !
And what about her Vevo channel ? Why is it such a mess ??
Oh, one more thing . IMO GMAYL video is a true return to form , the song sucks BIG TIME but the video is very, very good !

Madonna's Youtube account and its Vevo and the Warner Bros one need a HUGE revamp.
It bothers me so much, I've never seen most of her videos on HD
I can't watch most of them on mobile or anything
I have dragged her already on Ig about it but she ignores me
