I don't think it's a matter of "indie" or "pop"
if you look at her album, it mostly has hints of HIP HOP.
That's what I love most about it.
It has a MIX of things in it. I think everyone in this case is stupid. It's all just stereotypical talk.
If you examine her sounds, it's a bunch of **** mixed together. I wouldn't necessarily call her "indie" and I definitely wouldn't call her "pop".
Anyway, to comment on the POINT of your post... I also think all of the TALK is pretty awesome. Any talk is good. This *leak of the album also helped the public turn on to her music, a lot... well, at least that's what I've seen. I've seen the hate die down a lot and that makes me really happy.
