Yeah I love bernie's ideas, but they are not feasible. In the day in age we live in, I trust Hillary and her more moderate Democratic views than I do Bernie's very socialist "out-there" views, even if some of his ideas are great, they just aren't logical. I also feel that Hillary is more fit to the challenge, and more experienced to deal with terrorism, gun violence, and foreign affairs.

i think it's cute how y'all assume she'll stick by her views and promises after her inauguration

And what will Bernie do? He literally can't accomplish most of what he promises, so...

*if
The race ain't over, in fact it's just beginning. She could lose to Bernie or Trump . But she never had a problem sticking to her promises before (mostly!)

Bernie can't stick to his promises. Trump shouldn't stick to his promises. I'd be totally fine with Hillary only sticking to some of them.

First post in a while, my avi is even gone..dead.
Anyways, I like how some of you support Hillary over Bernie. Hillary is totally inconsistent, from the TPP deal to LGBT rights. Most of her donations are from special interests, but yet she will reign in Wall Street and big corporations? She's flip flopped on gun, gay and woman rights countless of times. She has a federal investigation pending and Benghazi happened under her watch.
She's the epitome and model of the establishment of Washington and why people have so much resentment for the government, rather it be Republican or Democrat. I rather have someone who is trying to incorporate and bring forth fresh, new ideas, because the current ones aren't working. Don't get me wrong I was a HUGE Hillary supporter, but then I started looking at her track record and did some thinking. If Bernie's momentum continues as it's been doing, from 2% to 40%, Bernie will lock up the Democratic nomination.
Unfortunately it will be 2008 for Hillary all over again. Bernie will win Iowa and New Hampshire, please quote me. BUT Bernie's only "potential" problem will show in the upcoming states, Nevada and South Carolina. He needs to create substance and an outline of his plans; specifically, the single payer system and public tuition free college.

I keep telling people this. If Obama could get stuff passed, surely Bernie couldn't AND shouldn't. His policies <<< compared to Hillary and Obama.

at y'all saying you love Bernie's ideas but that they're illogical/not feasible. That makes them bad ideas and him a bad candidate (i.e not electable ). Socialism doesn't work!

Socialism programs; police, medicare, medicare, roads, brides. Pure socialism doesn't work, but a mixture of a free market and socialism does work. It's all in the way of how it's managed.

And the way it will be managed under Bernie would still be a disaster.

When has she flipped on guns? She always been progressive on gun issues. Further, with LGBTQ issues, she evolved in that issue as did most of America (yes, including Bernie Sanders). And Benghazi isn't a good enough reason. It was a mistake, sure. Four Americans died, and while it was awful, if that's the worse thing that happens in Hillary's political career if she were to get the presidential seat, then I would satisfied. Look at Bush's record with American deaths.

Bernie's ideas are awesome in theory. Awful in implementation, like communism.

Eh. I don't think she will lose Iowa but if she does then you're correct Bernie's next problems are the contests that come after like Nevada (where she's leading my a comfortable 13+ points) and South Carolina (where she's leading by a comfortable 40+ points). Add that to the fact she has a Super Tuesday firewall as well as a 331-9 delegate point lead before Iowa even votes and you have Bernie facing elimination even if he wins the first two states.
Hillary losing both isn't the end for her, Bernie winning both could possibly change the momentum though

Beating around the bush, if they're awful in implementation then they're awful point blank. Lots of things are nice in theory.

Don't really understand why people are so confident that Hillary will get **** done more effectively? Especially since she's a flip flipper. The fact of the matter is congress is broken, and ANY presidential candidate is going to struggle to achieve their agendas. Hillary will struggle just as much as Bernie, so not voting for him just because you don't think he can achieve all his goals is not a good enough excuse. Choose someone with big ambitions, they'll propose something left wing and idealistic, it'll be watered down, moved to the center, w/e is necessary to reach a consensus and it will be legislated. That tends to be how it goes regardless of the candidate. So why vote for Hillary when she's not even looking to achieve much?
She's more about preserving the establishment. Nothing will change under her presidency.

Don't lie to yourself about Hillary... her views didn't become more progressive over time, she just flip flopped to the position that was more favorable to the voters. When LGBT rights weren't popular among Democrats her and her husband were staunchly against them (DOMA, several statements prior). The SECOND the democrats decided to become accepting of it she put a rainbow over her twitter avi and claimed she was completely for gay rights. This is simply one example of how she was and is a government hack who is only out for herself. Pure trash. Praying she never leads this country.
