Nikki wouldn't approve and certainly neither would I. Don't set me up for a disappointment. Don't do it!

We have had great days without you, too.
You seem to forget about darkhorse's and EuphorianSea's post whoring abilities.

Well well well...
Cupid has not managed to send his rankings yet. Which means we will have to move on without him.
Which means, I KNOW WHO IS GOING HOME.

God, LAMB is one of those classic albums that is just too good. I’m a fellow Gwen fan as well, but I feel like her music has been going downhill since LAMB. The Sweet Escape was essentially leftovers from LAMB to bank off the success of LAMB. Therefore, I wouldn’t put “The Sweet Escape” as my favorite single but rather “Hollaback Girl”. Then for favorite video I’d say “Wait You Waiting For?” because it describes what you said about her writers block and captures the whole LAMB era from the start. I’m agreeing with you that her worst single thus far is “Baby Don’t Lie”. She’s had two better starting singles and this just disappoints greatly.
Oh… The Katy shade and the fact you even brought up the fictional character “Men Stefani”

Can I just start off with a question? Not that question. When you had to look like a Nicole stan for this challenge, did the Scherzingers come flocking thinking a new stan was gained? I feel like they would do that. That is in no way shade because I too actually really enjoy Nicole’s music. I just feel extremely bad for. She wants to be a solo musician so badly, but her name has unfortunately been kind of tarnished due to the PCD drama. She may have been the lead of the band, but she literally was nothing without her background dancers to be honest. Now that little rant is over, I enjoyed your entry. While I may not agree with the choices, you really embodied being a stan while still being yourself. You used some of your favorite songs of her as your avatars, while keeping with your Melvin-like style. You also connected the best/worst single and favorite video with personal connections of you. Well done.

Parking Lot as her worst single, I can see it but I personally love it for some reason, and then shaming Stupid Hoe/Anaconda/711… My anaconda don’t want none until I clap clap that stupid hoe in the ayer. That’s another story though, but Messosexual Bottom returns. I’m not going to take away the reasoning on why you chose what you chose for favorite song and favorite video, but I had this feeling of disingenuous from those two. We get it, you love the dick, take pride in riding that disco stick. Maybe I’m feeling a bit ANTM on this, but I feel like being known for being this overly sexual person is not a good thing. I wanted to feel more than getting an indirect feeling on how you feel on Saturday nights with a Grindr hook-up. Sorry?

You could see in sentences like ‚it feels as though after dropping her life support‘ that you weren’t really trying to stan for her.

God, that scene of the Fergalicious music video when she’s popping out the cake… D to the E to the L I C I O U S! What I really loved about your entry is that it did feel like something an actual hard core Fergie stan would submit. You gave facts, other song references, and for 2/3 parts of this challenge you chose songs majority of the people have probably never even heard of. The fact that you steered away from the more known songs, aka singles, for most and least favorite songs really took you into a new territory of getting into the spirit of Stan Swap. Overall, great work!

Then on the flip side of an entry like Darkhorse in which it really seemed like a stan writing it, considering he did use to stan, yours does not seem like a stan would write this. I don’t say this negatively, but rather positively. You mentioned that you learned more about Madonna because of this challenge, listened to more of her large catalog of songs, and ended up just having more of a respect and love for Madonna. In a way, this is part of what a Stan Swap can be/is set to do. What I liked is that you went with three distinct eras from Madonna to show her different sides. Can I just add a little tid bit of something I feel like a noticed? You are a Rihanna stan and she has constantly been seen as the “Black Madonna”. In a sense, I got this comparison with this entry, and I feel like that is why you started to connect more with Madonna after this. Both artists have distinct styles with different eras that show versatility.

Had you of chosen a Spanish song because you don’t understand since you don’t speak Spanish, would have made you FAILED this challenge. To be a stan you have to adopt to both cultures especially if they are bilingual and release music in both languages. Now while I say that, I wish for this entry you would have possibly chosen one of her Spanish songs for like favorite song or something just to show that side of being a stan. You discovered the gems and I bet at least one of them struck home to you when you figured out what the lyrics met. Overall, a real decent entry.

Miss Janet Jackson. Pretty much one of the standards most pop girls nowadays look at for inspiration in their work. When reading this entry, I’ll be honest, I was mixed between the feelings of a fan and a stan. It tended to be on the side of stan, the part of this challenge, but there were aspects I just felt like fan. You really do have a gift of being able to write great paragraphs explaining yourself. You showed off different aspects of Janet you found within the swap. Can I say this to you? Out of all the entries I have read, yours actually made me want to listen to Janet’s discography the most. It wasn’t because of the wording, it was because of what all I’m actually missing. I had never heard of “Two to the Power” or “Got Til It’s Gone”; hell I haven’t even heard The Velvet Rope. With this challenge, this was probably the third time ever I have listened to “Together Again”. It’s such a great song, that I just feel like I’m missing some personal gems from Miss janet.
