This. And in fact, I think in this case a deal can be very helpful because it seeds the song. When radio stations normally would shy away from it, a one day deal gives the song exposure and people hear and react to it.
In some cases, the songs will not appeal to the audience and be dropped. In some cases the song clicks with the audience because it is ******* radio candy and the song will gain naturally.
it'll be a travesty if it does hit #1 on the Hot 100.
