They could be. But I think it's more for depicting her as the God of Saturn (God of TIME). The orbs orbit her while she's sitting on the black box of Saturn. You see a lot of duality imagery in this video (the eye change, the separations, and the box itself). I think when she's painted a dark color its to give an homage to darkness (Saturn worshippers do that) because without darkness, there is no light. This video is her balancing both polarities and achieving dualism by coexisting with light and darkness. She was born to dance in the moonlight!
