I'm not sure if the mod who closed it will remember, but I was looking through my threads, and one of them got closed for reasons I don't understand. Could a mod explain it, please, if they have any idea why it may have gotten closed?

Is this avatar (which is much more lewd and sexual in nature than my two no- cooch-rubbing, non-fanfic-crotch-grabbing, safe-for-work avatars that I was warned for and that no mod has gotten back to me on whether or not the points would be reversed considering I'd worn them for days at a time and posted in HQ with them where several mods saw and said nothing and I obviously didn't know weren't okay to use) allowed?

I was warned for being "off-topic" with this post in Stand Your Ground just now, exposing a very trash, very racist, very ignorant and very offensive post by one of our users in response to a post about how racist a lot of users on this site can be
However, I'm confused as to just how I was being off-topic when the actual topic we were and still are discussing is racism and racist users on the site. I didn't derail the conversation because that's exactly what it was about.
and please miss me with that technical ******** about SYG being exclusively about pop culture because a good chunk of the posts in that thread are about things unrelated to pop culture, and if this point doesn't get reversed then it's only fair that every single other off-topic post in that thread is warned

Someone has been targeting SYG members for off topic. I got hit one time too, but since it was my only WP, I didn't fight it.

I think some people could find it insensitive because the situation is very tragic and serious and talking about him being attractive is a little bit inappropriate given the topic.

Honestly, why was this warned? What even classifies as off-topic in SYG? There was a huge discussion about education like yesterday? Did all of those posts get warned? We were already discussing racism which was definitely related to pop culture and exposing a racist shouldn't get warned just because he's apparently loved by some people in there.
Either simply better define the rules of SYG and what can be discussed and what can't be discussed, or simply start warning posts that appear to be off-topic, especially when there's a bunch of them that go unwarned.
