Gross. I could say the same thing about you just liking Hillary cause she's a democrat. When Bernie was clearly the more progressive candidate.
Anyway, Libya's GDP peaked at 93.2 billion during Gaddafi's tenure. Adult literacy increased from 40% to over 90%. Nationalized Libya's oil. Opposed Western imperialism. And guaranteed a degree of peace and stability against terrorists. Oh, and funded Nelson Mandela & his ANC while US and Europe still considered him a terrorist because he dared to challenge white power structures in his home country.
Yes t
Gaddafi's biggest shortcoming was creating political enemies out of dissenters, but they were always the minority. Seeing as the rebels never had popular support, it wasn't the people who turned against Gaddaffi. The rebels only won through NATO support. Without NATO Gadaffi would have crushed the terrorist uprising quickly and efficiently, for better or worse. (Mostly better when you look at the state of Libya today with Boko Haram and it being used as an ISIS breeding ground).
There's absolutely no way to refute this video. But I'll be entertained by any effort.
So you may want to raise up a mirror and ask who the real global terrorists are.

Gross what? Lol I'm more close to Gaddafi than you'll ever be and I said the truth. And no I liked Hillary because I'm familiar with her record and have always liked her. Why would I put Bernie over her? I wasn't impressed with his holier than thou attitude and it's hilarious you're bringing him up when he actually supported deposing Gaddafi and NATO's intervention.
Lol people always mention the GDP as if it matters how much money the country has when only certain people have it. 1/3 of Libyans lived under the poverty line (by Libyan standards. By the standards of countries as rich as Libya, it would be far more than that) so keep waving that GDP receipt as if it amounts to anything. China has a high GDP yet its citizens live like **** and are awaiting a revolution. And Libya's oil was never nationalized. Oil trade is how Gaddafi made a lot of his money. Yes the Nelson Mandela alliance was admirable but let's not use that as the end of all things good/bad about Gaddafi. Especially when Hitler, whom people unanimously agree to demonize now, has contributed far more to the world than most leaders in history in many areas. But I'm sure I won't see you praising him either because he wasn't your "African brother"
Gaddafi stifled his people. Gaddafi killed his opposition and executed anyone who tried to start a political party. Gaddafi executed anyone who discussed domestic affairs abroad. Gaddafi kept all of the country's wealth to himself and his friends despite promising his people, 3 years before the Arab Spring, to
finally share the wealth with them which, of course, never happened. And shame on you for praising his treatment of his opposition when we're seeing what's happening in Aleppo right now and you know damn well it woulda been the same situation in Libya.
You can bring up his few good deeds all you want or the protests (which weren't even pro-Gaddafi but rather pro-peace and weren't even the biggest of their year - those happened in Egypt) all you want but that's not causing much of a dent here. There's a reason there are 1 million Libyan refugees around the world while 4.5 million Syrian refugees in 5 European countries alone. In a decade or so, Libya will be looked back on as success like Kosovo as it rebuilds itself up while Syria will fall deeper and deeper into dictatorship and North Koreaness.
