No way, those songs are completely different. DWUW sounds bitter and too powerhouse vocal heavy, G.U.Y. sounds dated and had potential and was clearly a song about being submissive. Not really party anthems.
I really think Partynauseous could do well. Or could've done well, at least. This is the kind of different Gaga should have done.

That's true it is really fresh sounding, I'm sure the original album was much better and even if it still underperformed it would have had the excuse of being legit experimental and not just slightly weirder, less catchy versions of her older songs

Gagamon, I just read that thread on Exhale.....they're so ridiculously pathetic. Do they not have anything better to do than to go over the top fuming with hate about Gaga? And the fact that Slim got banned for saying something slightly negative about Britney, but its completely okay for everyone else to say those terrible, insensitive, offensive things about another artist.

Watched a few interviews from TF to BTW era. People say she flopped during BTW but honestly it was the era she was overexposed and a whole shift was moving away. ARTPOP is when she is really disconnected. She needs to pull out her edgy/glam yet pop instead of this messy person she has gotten to be (styling and concepts), or else she goes all the way and be a rocker piano performer
I miss liking her tbh and it was promising in the beginning of this era. One of the quotes she said how she didn't like the world putting pressure on her to top things but now it definitely got to her head, not in a good way.
What could've been
