While this is true (Prince, Michael, Janet, Whitney, Mariah, Aaliyah etc.) The Beatles and Elvis (eww) are two of the biggest selling musical acts of all time. White artist have a better chance at being successful than African American artist tho which makes our achievements look better.
That's because blacks have always been the blueprint (minus beatles).
