See, I would've thought that Offensive one would go under Abrasive though. The only times I see Offensive outright working is if someone's going off their rocker in a sensitive news thread.
Is Insensitive the equivalent to Abrasive but reserved for things that aren't directed to members?

Well, not necessarily, at least not always.
For example:
Topic: "*Celebrity* dies in a car crash!"
User: OMG! GET DAT PROMO GURL!!! Watch ha sales rise up!!!!11
-Though it's not necessarily an attack towards the celebrity or any person, it's still something inappropriate to say in context.
But if the user goes like:
User: Finally! She's a retard! She deserves it!!!
-Now that's offensive (and might even get you banned)
' to a picture of poor Africans back in 2012. 
While equally vulgar (using the exact same words, ffs) and clear flaimbait post that triggered my reaction gets unpunished? That post is even quoted in ATRL-o-matic's cute message to me.
