Hmm. I doubt that's the reason. But if it was, it doesn't mean that they had to release it so early.
Honestly I think they release the video in the hopes that it would be a viral hit. (Like TGIF). But there is a difference between the two video. TGIF had a handful of celebrities, was very well executed. and Was a music video. Though Bday's video is funny. It lacked in other aspects
But what's done is done. Let hope its streaming increases as the song grows.
