this is definitely inaccurate, lol. at 6:30pm yesterday, Live Nation tweeted that she would take the stage at 8pm. according a couple of ushers who I chatted with, the original plan was for the opening DJ (who never ended up playing) to start at 8pm, then she would start at 9:15pm. it was changed last minute in an effort to beat the rain.

and bijonse, it doesn't get dark until 9:45pm in Edmonton at this time of year.

If you're short, get lower level side seats. That's what I had. You can see the whole show so much better without worrying about people tall people or inconsiderate people who stand in chairs or try to rush the stage near your section.

I have the same problem. I'll probably be working this summer and I won't be able to queue up before 7 P.M, so basically I'm ****ed

It doesn't get dark until like 10pm in the UK in the summer so the first hour-ish is going to be light, it's not the same compared to pitch black

To be fair the show has always been advertised as gates opening at 5:30 and show starting at 7:30 (even tho she doesn't go on until 9). The fans who arrived late have obviously researched and saw she starts at 9 every night, but her starting time is never set in stone so kinda their fault

For those who've had floor seats:

I attended the Santa Clara date this past Monday (but I had higher level seats), and I'm also attending the September date (with floor seats). I noticed on Monday that there were signs saying: "Floor seats: please have tickets and wristband available"

Are there wristbands for floor seats? Because I don't remember seeing anything about wristbands when I bought tickets for the September show.

in Edmonton, I think everyone in the first 30 or so rows were given wristbands, and that part of the floor was separated from the back portion.

these were City of Edmonton wristbands, however, so they probably do things a bit differently depending on the venue.
