That performance turned me into a fan. I wasn't really a fan up until then because I didn't understand her, didn't see enough of her to know how talented she was, I was turned off by her fake persona in interviews around that time, etc. But that performance blew me away, like I didn't even know how I felt about it at first....I was grossed and weirded out, but interested, and then I realized it was genius.
Urgggg now i'm watching the MTV awards performance of Applause. It didn't even do bad. If only it wasn't pounded into everyone's head, including Gaga that era was a flop then we could of probably had better single sales, more album sales and more live performances. I wish she did ellen Next era this bish better slay as hard as when this era started.

I had six months to beef up my brain and my body. I got to put a giant white or black sheet of paint over my whole canvas and I got to review ARTPOP again. I was given the time to really be creative because it’s a gazing process, it really is. I have to gaze into the work for long periods of time for it to be good.
Her hip breaking was truly the WORST thing that could've happened.
Wasn't TFM one of her fastest releases ever tho? She's deluded.
I mean, what we got in ARTPOP was a messy mix of the 2012 acid Disney "rise of the phoenix" album and the 2013 post-hip break Greek Koons "goddess of love" album. Didn't she complain that her label rushed her to release the album? Maybe if they gave her a bit more time to recover and make the album, and she started the era in February 2014 (), then we would've gotten a coherent 3rd draft.
