I actually think she will have a shot at AOTY next year. I also think this will be her most acclaimed albums yet with a score of 90+ IMO 25 isn't that good besides a few songs and if she gets it, it will be based on the success and not the work...

Kendrick is about to have another acclaimed album plus Adele still exists. Bey would have to get above 90 on MC, get a #1, and sell above 3 mil in the US to be considered a threat imo.

I think her best shot would be with radio domination since Adele lacked that this era tho

Sometimes I hate that the AOTY award depends on which artist had the biggest sales. Why can't the award be on quality and quality only. It's only the best way to judge albums. Sales don't always reflect good quality albums and I hate that people are so sure Adele is going to win it.

Think about who votes for the awards and look who wins the awards, the last 2 females (Adele and Taylor) are safe, they don't offend and they release music for all. Beyoncé is not that anymore and we know this album is not going to be that. I highly doubt the same people who voted for those females will give Bey a vote. She would need to be the only Urban act in the AOTY to even have a chance.

Yall should just stop caring about AOTY at this point. Her safest, most digest album won her the most awards while they semi-snubbed her most daring. And look at this year's winner : literally the safest, most basic artist of this generation. She's never getting that award and we should just accept it. I don't want her to start making safe and bland radio filler garbage for the only sake of winning that
