Honestly, reading some of you makes me cringe. Maybe people should just consider what's important for them firsthand - stan arguments to back up with some "receipts" or a person they somehow chose to stan for (if it wasn't bandwagon initially). How the heck can you drag her for "people" she "chose to surround her" and these people themselves - like you even remember their names (let's be honest), like you know them personally, like you know their approach, like you know what work is being done every day, apart from IG monsters/paparazzi's eyes including this very moment you're writing this. Have some respect. Let's not forget, the base of her team didn't change since 2005 or smth. Same people she was managed back in 2005 went to Roc Nation in 2008 or remained her right hand on SRP. She's still working with Def Jam/Roc Nation team, the difference is, now she's running her own company & hires them. And -
guess what? - she was good for all these 10 years, and she managed to have one of the greatest careers in contemporary music history, with their help. Don't put the "blame" on random somebody. I've told my fellow navy a couple of times: tf if you know the matter so well, go and apply for work! Maybe with your expert advice she'll manage her career a lot better!

Speaking sales and "momentum". Adele is getting much, of course. Like everyone will next weeks. But this quick kind of hype is built on press. Most of the "news" aren't even remembered by gp in a couple of weeks, cuz the public memory is short nowadays in chaos of information. So, if Rih books her press after the release - even if it's surprise or not - she'll be good. At the end of the day, long-term scale is all that matters.
