I love Bey but i feel this is kind of Meryl Streep at the Oscars, they nominate her on her name alone, no matter the quality of what she delivered during that period of time.

7/11 deserved every single one of her noms... accept and move on already.

I think it's a little stretch nominating 7/11 because it's an amateur video. Shouldn't awards be given on excellency? 7/11, as a video, is not excellent... But whatever, I have no business with MTV anymore lol

it's at least innovative and creative, whereas most other nominees delivered predictable music videos.

Innovative? Similar things have been done and in much better ways. The song is catchy and it's a very fun video with cute editing, but not award worthy I think (my opinion).

But you're right in the fact that other nominees (cough cough Taylor Swift and very honestly, Kendrick) have predictable videos in the noms list.
