Britney pulls a single originally with her previous album in the case of Radar. It's one of the tracks that are anticipated to be one of her singles, and finally this would push through. But due to it, it didn't do much to further its success. With its heavy electro beats, and Britney's quick vocals, this song is one of the highlights of her Blackout album. It's one of my favorites too as it reached the top spot just like other Britney songs in my countdown. |

Gaga's vocals on this track is quite different and distinctive from her other tracks on her album The Fame. The perspective on the song is really creative lyrically. It wasn't my favorite song from her at first, but later on I learned to love it yet there is something that I just feel that I find it hard to like it sometimes. Anyways, the music video is one of her best and one of the year's best! That really made me like the song more in all ways. Every second of it was amazing, well maybe the first part where the song doesn't start still. Later on, this song will be one of the highlights of her career. |
| 18. COBRA STARSHIP FEATURING LEIGHTON MEESTER

Seriously, I never heard a single song from them before this and I'm actually very surprised that they have an album before. But thanks to this song, and with that I became a fan of them. Upon hearing it, it could literally make the good girls go bad usually on the parties. Featured guest Leighton Meester makes the track more of reaching out to the men while the lead singer Gabe Saporta for the women. Currently, this is their biggest hit yet and I'm very excited what's next for them. |
| 17. CIARA FEATURING MISSY ELLIOTT
- "Work"

This song doesn't deserve to flop! That's the painful truth that kept bugging me in with this song. If only that this would follow the likes of her hits, it surely would be one of her best. But despite that, the song itself is fire just like most of her tracks in the album! Fierce in all ways, Ciara commands you to work yourself and better show some swag! Missy is also there to help you up. I consider its video to be one of her best of her career. The setting and location which is a construction site is just perfect. Then goes the dance routines which lets our eyes glued to the screen. |
| 16. JORDIN SPARKS
- "Battlefield"
Album: Battlefield
Release Date: May 12, 2009
Genre: R&B, pop-rock
Length: 4:01
Label: Jive
Writer(s): The Runaways (Wayne Wilkins, Louis Biancaniello, Sam Watters), Ryan Tedder
Producer(s): Ryan Tedder and The Runaways
Weeks on Chart: 11 weeks
Peak Position: #01 (1 week)
Released as the lead single from her second album, this powerful ballad gave Jordin another top 10 hit in the US charts. It is no wonder to be successful at least, because the song itself is respected to be amazing. The lyrics compares about love that feels like a battlefield, so the one in battle must ready to get an armor. The video is just okay, nothing related with a battle-like theme though. But when it was first premiered, it's just plain boring. Yet as for this case, the song is better than its video and will still remain as it is in my taste. |
