Just got back from seeing District 9 and I loved it. Fantastic movie, lived up to my expectations and reviews. I think it's fantastic what they did for $30 million, and how effective it was. The no-name actors did better than you could have got from any Hollywood hot shot, and really connected well with the story. Cinematography was great, so was the story in itself. Fantastic concept, straying away from the cliche of alien invasion films. I loved that it was more realistic too, that it had an unlikely hero to the story. I found myself caring about the aliens, seeing that they're living creatures too, with emotions and families etc. Just wonderful.

The closing scene showed hopes for a sequel; With its fantastic profit:budget ratio and reviews, I've got high hopes for one.

I'll be honest, I just wanted to watch this 'cuz Jensen was in it but it was a great horror movie...
I'm a huge fan of horror movies, and I think this one was awesome, it has the suspense, the gore and the scene in the supermarket was EPIC!
I didn't like the nude chick running naked for about 5min (she was hot but still)
JENSEN WAS HOT!!!

I thought this one was gawn be EPIC, but it was AWFUL!
I liked the begining, the scene in the parking lot was great, but the rest of the movie was lame, cartoonish and stupid; I don't know why the critics loved it...IT'S STUPID!
The scene in which the anvil falls on the which was stupid...and the ending was just dissapointing...

it drags the suspense perfectly and combines it with a lot of gore...I LOVED IT

But they can still be good movies, like Disturbia, for example. Brings nothing new to the genre but it's fun, scary and has a likable cast.

I Am A Legend (B)

Good movie, a bit overrated, Will Smith's acting was perfect as usual. The plot was cool and the visual effects were good.

What i didn't like was the ending of the movie and how Sam's death was so effin stupid

Entertaining, emotional and the characters are played to perfection, with brilliant animation.

Very long and and hard to follow. VERY RANDOM and Brad Pitt was in minimal scenes.

Funny, exciting, over-the-top. This movie can just be described as CRAZY. I liked it better than the first one but I still can't take this movie seriously.

Yeah it was just a bunch of ho-hummed segments. Nothings serious. But the racetrack sex!
