BLK: I got your point, but 5H are five lead singer girls, Camila is not even the best in singing. They have yet to release the debut album, they can't make one shine and the others stay behind. If they do so more and more people will get annoyed by the group and will only be excited about Camila, so they will start flopping etc.
If one of them is a future star, time will tell; there's no need to make one shine, not now at least.
Beyoncé and Justin were the most talented of their group, that was obvious, but Camila is still so young, I just can't see her having a career now.

I've definitely felt like Normani is lead on BoSS at least in the snippet. My only concern is that Normani seems to be the most inconsistent vocally live. Like I love it when she's on point but she's gone very obviously off key the most of any of them during performances (during Neon lights Tour, during their most recent radio show tour) This is the only reason I feel like Normani as a lead on songs can be a little bit of a liability during live performances.
Now that may very well be the songs they were singing just didn't suit her voice (Don't Wanna Dance Alone is her biggest problem) and if that's the case, then I hope the new songs don't have that problem for her.

Can I just say that everyone's assumption that Camila can be a widely successful solo artist solely based off of her current popularity within Fifth Harmony is just ridiculous Yes, her voice is unique and her runs are amazing. However, her overall range is not good enough nor is her tone full enough to carry an entire song from start to finish. What allowed Beyonce and JT to break off as soloists wasn't only their popularity within their groups, but the fact that their voices were fit to be solo voices, while Camila's is not. If Camila's voice on its own was good enough for her to be solo, then Simon would have made her go through as a solo contestant in the first place.
And by the way, all of this is coming from somebody whose favourite member of the group is Camila, so it's not like I'm some misguided Camila hater or anything. It's just sometimes I see people who fail to acknowledge that other members like Normani and Ally are not only helpful in filling out the overall range of the group, but are NECESSARY in order for the group to sound good.
You guys are right. I'll do the un-Atrl thing and apologize. I guess my issue was with normani vocally and I let it get me to a point to use it to single out camila. Camila has her pitchy problems too.
I do agree that what made them magical was their chemistry and ability to all sing well as a group.

I think people underestimate Camila's vocal ability and saying that she can't carry out a song on her own is ********.
