This, minus the part about people getting out - they should stay and learn why Venus should never be a single.

Venus is a great song, don't get me wrong. It's a bop on its own rights, but it's something that would
totally destroy any chance of ARTPOP being GP friendly.

I think G.U.Y has a chance to be a moderate hit. If the video is amazing and if she'll do some real deal promo, then I can easily see it being TOP 10, which is something Venus would not achieve.

now now let's not get thirsty.. unless there is another celebrity in it i don't think it'd be that high first week, especially because it seems she'll be releasing the video the moment she announces GUY as a single/releases to radio, so it's not like GUY will already be a hit beforehand

i was thinking that too

but both GUY and Venus make references to greek mythology so I think it's equally likely as to which it's for. I honestly wouldn't mind either because it just looks like an epic epic video

Venus could be a hit or miss though. It's very Gaga, but in more of a good way. Plus it's the only song charting in most countries on iTunes. I don't see it being a big hit, but it definitely should be a single so that there can be more signature songs in her discography.
