Ciara had a decent sized year, two hits, album sales increase and more nominations.
20/20 Part II - It was out of my top 50 by just a hair but it's seriously underrated. It's a downgrade but it's not even as bad as people make it out to be. It was more instant than the part I but it lacked longevity and replay value after a while though.
⚫ Listening to this album was like a musical religious spiritual! Especially the sound and the production of the album, it makes you think about worshipping and all of those religious places sans Christianity! M.I.A. as expected, delivered another brilliant work on her respectable discography! Each song puts you into a trance! Was blown away from my first listen to this to be honest! Its energertic, its solemn, its holy, its friggin amazing!

⚫ This self title record seems to be an old school/ back to basic route for Avril. Nostalgia is definitely written all over this record, some songs tinged off the classic Avril when she debuted. Ballads, midtempos, and the upbeats will surprise you while maintaining such each certain track is undeniably an Avril record. It may not be her most cohesive body of work, but still overall, its a testament for her presence, for what music she is known for, hence serving herself to remind that she is her to stay

⚫ Probably the best recent Nicki involved single! Hearing the song screams instant 90's, old-school carefree beach vibe courtesy off the slick production! When Nicki coos over the chorus, its just very pleasing to the ears, and the hook overall has much replay value for me. Wayne on the track isn't a surprise! And the video, woah, they totally look great together and with both of em, there's that natural chemistry when they are partnered! I hope Nicki delivers this simple kind of songs in the future, because sometimes, it's where she shines the best for some!

⚫ So so into this song especially I've been rooting for it to be their catapult to relevancy worldwide! Well, not so much, but then it widened their appeal and remains one of their best charting songs this year! Aluna Francis' famous childlike vocals are very evident and president as she delivers intonation with such uniqueness and versatility. But then, the video is ambitious compared to their other ones, as the people involved are incorporating such modern day twist of such fairytale classic characters in an unconventional way! Overall, great effort to the song and video!

⚫ Peaked #1 on weekly charts last year and #11 on my Best of 2012, my most favorite Calvin song ever makes it second consecutive appearance at #60 this year! It extended its chartlife during December to early quarter of 2014! To this day, I still listen to this INCREDIBLE song! Still slayed by its pulsating 'laserlight beam' effect of the beats! And oh my, still in awe how Florence laid her MAJESTIC vocals all over the track! When she goes off that long as wail note at the end, = IMMENSE LIFE is always been RECEIVED!
