I actually agree with him on the fact PTA is similar to Starships and people may think every other song on the album sounds like Starships.

Katy Perry does it the best. Her songs are usually top 20 on iTunes before the music video gets released (sometimes more, Wide Awake was #2 on iTunes, E.T. was #1 on iTunes). And her songs always are massive. Her team know what they're doing.
