Miley regains the #1 song with Wrecking Ball for a fourth week. It is now the second longest running #1 song of 2013 after Demi Lovato's Heart Attack spent 7 non-consecutive weeks at the summit in March & May.
A song that has been on the countdown since June, is now seeing a resurgence in plays as Halloween comes closer & closer. Red Planet by Little Mix, which reaches a new peak of #2 this week..
Also getting a new peak this week is Burn by Ellie Goulding, which is now #6. The song has recently become a favorite of mine to sing the lyrics to while walking to class or walking home. It's a song that I consider covering.
Debuting this week is Walking On Air by Katy Perry at #35
Retiring this week is Wasting All These Tears by Cassadee Pope. It peaked at #4. It is the first song from a Voice contestant to retire from the countdown.
