Femme Fatale by Britney Spears
It's a nicely produced and well-made album, but this album lacks the signature "Britney" that makes her different from any other, which even her weakest albums had. She sings in horribly-processed, bland, tired voice, which is one of the albums' weakest points besides its terrible tracks such as Gasoline and (Drop Dead) Beautiful. The lack of "Britney," along with the lackluster sales of the album, makes it forgettable in general. However this album is one of her most cohesive and best-executed efforts, proven by its interesting production and its great moments like How I Roll and Trip to Your Heart. Overall I think this is her third best album after Blackout and In the Zone.
Top Tracks: How I Roll, Trip to Your Heart, Hold It Against Me

the princess of pop is back with her seventh studio album. it's a step up from her previous album, 'Circus'. she's not off pretending she's making the best album in the world. she's not stealing song credits and passing them off as her own. she's not rushing the albums to come out every year. she's delivering an album filled with hits that makes you want to shake your ass. it all works out for Britney in the end. she knows what she's good for and she delivers when it comes down to those dance crazed songs. 'Femme Fatale' doesn't pretend to be something that it's not. and Britney remains that sweet innocent girl, she's known for being. Britney always includes some of her best tracks as bonus tracks. the best song on the album is the mid tempo ballad, "He About To Lose Me". her vocals on the song are great. the emotion, the lyrics. it's beautiful. runner up songs are "Till The World Ends" and "Up N' Down". both songs are dance floor party anthems! the remaining songs are pure pop perfection. it's a shame the album failed commercially but at least it was a critical hit. let's hope Britney brings the same music for her next album but only with more promotion this time. this is the kind of album that could sell millions!

Thank god for that.
So basically what you're saying is if an artist says their album is going to suck that makes it better than them saying it's going to be good? I don't think I have to point out the lunacy in that belief.

FEMME FATALE (standard version)
Score: 73/100
Top tracks:
1. Hold it against me (Best song on the album)
2. Till the world ends
3. Inside out
Review:
Spears 7th studio album "Femme Fatale" is an electronic / pop well cohesive produced record, with a fresh, stylish sound and enjoyable musical content, The album opens with a dance powerfull anthemic song called "Till the world ends" followed by the elegant, modern and innovative "Hold it against me" which serves as the best song on the album, until track 5 the weird "How I roll" it seems that the album is just the perfect orgasmic pop material that we needed, but by track 6. "(Drop dead) beautiful" the problems begins, with a series of well produced but inmature, generic, robotic tracks, making of "Femme Fatale" monotone and repetitive, The album slightly recovers with the track 9. "Trouble for me" which offers a new unique sound on Britney's career, followed by "Trip to your heart" a nearly perfect pop-trance song produced by Spears long and favorite collaborators "Bloodshy and avant", "Femme Fatale" closes with the acoustic-pop/folk-ish song "Criminal" despite its weird lyrics the song shows a more human and organic sound on the album resulting refreshing after hearing 11 consecutive electronic / dance songs.
Despite an amazing executed production and its dance spirit, Femme Fatale's lyrical content is forgettable, basic, and repetitive.

I actually wanna do Stripped, Jagged Little Pill, or Back to Basics. The outcome would be really interesting.

Top 3 tracks (standard edition): Hold it Against Me, Inside Out, Trip to Your Heart
Britney Spears, affectionately known as the Queen of Pop, per Madonna and pop culture, has given us a gem. Femme Fatale is Britney rekindling the professional flame with producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin. Not only does Britney continue influencing the industry by staying a notch beyond the curve with innovative tracks like Hold it Against Me, which use a blissful dubstep influence, she also proves why she is among the most influential women in pop music. Reminiscent of her former masterpiece, Blackout, Femme Fatale is another electro-pop album packed with dance-floor anthems.
The first five tracks of the album is great and paces itself well, passing through other perfect gems such as Inside Out and How I Roll (which by the way, is an amazing return to form and bubblegum pop). However, we get to the bump in the road: Drop Dead Beautiful, a collaboration with Sabi, that has some of the worst lyrics on the album. Rest assured, after that travesty, the album picks right up where How I Roll left off with stellar tracks Seal it With a Kiss and Big Fat Bass. Tracks like Trouble for Me and Gasoline come off as cacophonous all equipped with bad pick up lines. However, the most unique surprise is the hidden gem, Trip to Your Heart , stowed away towards the end of this dance-floor smash. It's a perfect dance song that almost reminds one of the Britney era. All in all, Femme Fatale is an excellent addition to the legendary Britney Spears discography. Job well done!

The princess of pop is back, although she never left! Femme Fatale bombards the music scene with a huge bang! The album unleashes some of the catchiest hits the year. Spears proves her pop instincts are indeed intact, a decade later. Till the World Ends, 2nd single, introduces the album. Spears sexily coons over a grimy pop track. "This kitten got your tongue tied..." Spears teases. "Ends" is followed by her dubstep influenced first single. "Hold it Against Me" keeps the pace flowing with electronic pulsating beats. Spears sassy and fierce attitude remains present most of the album. Spear's most magical moment shines on How I Roll. It's a modern take on bubblegum pop, meshing innovative use of electrobeats. It's the quirckiest track on the album, with various layers. Spear's overly-processed voice is nearly unrecognizable on the track. However, it doesn't stop you from mindlessly humming the melody. The album never truly slows down till the very end. Criminal closes the standard edition with a midtempo pop-acoustic beat. It's not the greatest song she's ever recorded but it;s still quite enjoyable. The only true downfall of the album is Britney at times. She carries a robotic tone through some tracks. There's a vacancy that's more apparent than her previous albums. Every track on Femme Fatale is very Britney, but unfortunately, inorganically. Regardless, Spears and her team of producers hold it all together. Spears continuously offers fresh takes on pop every release. Femme Fatale follows suit and the results remain effortlessly.
Top Tracks:
1. How I Roll
2. Till The World Ends
3. Hold It Against Me
Score 95/100
