It's easier for the bigger retailers (iTunes, Amazon, Walmart,... they have enough IT for quickly calculating the sales and do automatic reporting) to report early. When you wait till the smaller shops writing their daily sales in daybooks and waiting till someone of Nielsen SoundScan calling them. What if the final +31% is even less worth than +13k ?
