While yes the big love ballad with great vocals usually wins (if it's a decent hit) but this year we don't have that).
Something like "Teenage Dream" would really win this but it's Katy we're talking about, if this was say Kelly Clarkson with that song and it's chart position it would win.
Gaga will win due to a weak year, just like Xtina in 2006.
