Yes, Spotify has a business model that works well for the consumer, more so than the artist. However, if the consumer expects quality material, they need to be willing to support the people that create that material. You can't expect to throw a few dimes at them, and then have them give you masterpieces in return. People in here wonder why so many artists pop out quick, generic singles - it's because the songwriters and producers NEED to get some quick money, they are seriously struggling as artists and aren't in comfortable enough position to spend months working on quality material that may or may not sell.

TIDAL is the ultimate bang for your buck. You pretty much have the entire industry in the palm of your hands- from a huge music and video catalog, to exclusive interviews/ behind-the-scenes from artists that you love, to playlists designed by some of the industries most renowned critics and performers. Their service is at the top of the game and is ideal for people that want depth to their experience.

The problem is that they could've done that with Spotify, promote it and all but no they choose to create another streaming service whose only has as of now 17,000 suscribers. Jayz wants the $$$ it's not a secret.
They could've joined their force to make their fans suscribe to Spotify Prenium.

Nah, it's just that you only hear the voices of the richest. There are smaller artists that are willing to take the slash in salary for exposure, mainly because they wouldn't be making a lot of money either way. However, there can be no doubt that they would love to be making more money, especially if they write their own music.

I'm not sure if you've actually used TIDAL yet, but the first thing that comes up when you open the application is a list of new releases from many artists, some that don't even have a Wikipedia page. TIDAL isn't all about the Roc squad - it's about bringing quality music to the people, while still giving the artists the support they deserve.

Done what with spotify? Why does someone need an outsider to do right by music stakeholders? Did they make any changes when Tay pulled her music off? No! Jay can invest in as many businesses as he chooses to. It's not greed, it's being enterprising. Jay becoming complacent will not make any bottom-feeder rich overnight!

Rocnation sports manages some of the biggest artists in the world who fired their previous agents to be with roc. Durant just got over 200 mil from Nike and is in every other commercial. Suh just got over 100 mil became the highest paid de in the history of NFL. Dez also getting over 100 mil, Cruz got 100 mil and is in commercials, Cano got 150 mil, Skylar diggins,cc sabathia etc.... Like, stop posting bs
